Barcelona Degusta

Barcelona DegustaWith Barcelona Degusta, Alimentaria Exhibitions devotes its energies to a show which is unprecedented in Spain. The exhibition is dedicated to food and beverage culture and eating and is aimed at the general public. It is the realisation of a long-time aspiration of the organisers of the prestigious Alimentaria event to bring products and food-related customs and the enjoyment of food to the public.

In contrast with all the other professional trade fairs organised by Alimentaria Exhibitions, where the visitor is a large international buyer of industrial food and beverage products, Barcelona Degusta is aimed at private consumers who are interested in cooking, health, quality, the elements of identity and new culinary trends.

Barcelona Degusta is a select 'market' for food and agriculture products and knowledge, structured around dedicated product areas and with a wide variety of activities related to the theory and practice of eating. With each edition, the show has seen significant increases in the number of visitors and exhibitor companies, as well as exhibition space occupied.
