After the success reached in his first two editions, the Exhibition of Food for the Consumer comes to his third summons with a few unsurpassable forecasts. Barcelona Degusta 2009 - that will celebrate from March 6 to March 9 in the enclosure Montjuic from Fira of Barcelona - will duplicate the surface of exhibition and activities of animation, the number of companies will increase in 20 % participants coming up to 600 exhibitors and will give the welcome to some more 22% of visitors that in the previous edition.
But the innovation of Barcelona Degusta 2009 goes far beyond of the numbers. To the classic sections of the fair, there will join two unpublished zones of exhibition that will do the delights of more than 44.000 fond of the good table. Landscapes will be the new monographic area dedicated to the geographical or territorial participation, provinces, regions, countries, which want to show the richness of his products and his gastronomic culture associated with the homeland. For his part, Trends will see the light for the first time with the aim that any company and thematic group could transmit the concepts, values and benefits of the innovations and products that elaborates.
Since it could not be differently, the six classic sections of Barcelona Degusta will return to be renewed to surprise the retainer. This way, Market Place will put within reach of the consumer thousands of quality products, the Ambigus will allow to taste exquisite thematic menus whereas the Taste Seminars and the Taste Agoras will offer magisterial classes and gastronomic high-level spectacles. Carme Ruscalleda, Sergi Arola or Elena Arzak are only some of the big chefs who up to the moment have transmitted his culinary knowledge from these spaces of formation.
According to philosophy of "everything on to eat" Barcelona Degusta also will offer to the visitor the opportunity to equip the kitchen with the last thing in furniture - Bazaar - and to consult one of the most complete gastronomic bookshops of Barcelona - Kiosk-.
But in addition, thinking about the principal aim of the lounge, which is to serve the final consumer, they will be born the Club Degusta and the Portal Degusta that they will allow to fidelize the consumer and to offer him contents and services beyond the fair.
Barcelona Degusta is the first lounge of his category inside the fairground national panorama. This contest offers to the exhibitor the possibility of enjoying a shop window of luxury to present, to report and to give to try products of the first quality.
