Alimentaria Mercosur is the latest addition to the Alimentaria Exhibitions trade show portfolio and represents a further step in the international expansion strategy of the Alimentaria brand. The second edition of Alimentaria Mercosur took place from 12 to 14 August 2008 and enjoyed a more than notable level of participation on the part of both exhibitor companies and professional visitors.

With this new launch, Alimentaria enhances its position internationally, achieving greater recognition for its brand and model and clearly positioning itself as a global trade show brand. The creation of Alimentaria Mercosur reflects the necessary internationalisation process which has been strategically established by Alimentaria and seeks to offer the Spanish agri-food industry new opportunities on the international playing field, forging bilateral commercial relationships between countries.

Alimentaria Mercosur, which is held in the Buenos Aires trade show venue La Rural, enjoys the support of all of the associations and institutions which play a key role in the Argentinean food and beverage sector. The exhibition succeeded in obtaining the unanimous and unwavering support of the COPAL food and beverage industry association, Exportar Foundation, Argentina’s modern distribution channels and supermarket associations.
