The Consell Comarcal del Segrià, present for the first time at Alimentaria, brings Elixirs de Ponent from Terres de Ponent, a young company that produces high quality liqueurs aimed at satisfying the demand for local products, made with 100% natural ingredients.
As a result of this philosophy and as an introduction in this edition, the firm is presenting L’Elixir, a camomile liqueur from Linyola, awarded the gold medal at the Catavinum World Wine & Spirits international competition in 2019. This distilled drink combines the tradition of Linyola camomile liqueur with spices and botanical ingredients, such as cinnamon and cardamom, among others. The award-winning liqueur has the unique sweet taste of the soil where the plant grows and retains the digestive properties of the original, but with a lower alcohol content compared to other traditional liqueurs.
In addition to L’Elixir, the company produces other distillate drinks, such as bonbon cream, coffee, cherry, lollipop and ecological orange and lemon liqueur.
Elixirs de Ponent will be exhibiting its products at the Consell Comarcal del Segrià stand, along with four other companies from the region, in order to promote the products of the area: Puigdellívol Nuts Group, Foment Agrícola de les Garrigues, Cervesa Lo Vilot and Aresté Teixidó.
