Debic, the FrieslandCampina the dairy products brand par excellence for hospitality and pastry professionals, is now entering the ice cream sector with its creams, butters and vegetable mixes, thanks to its ambassador and master ice cream maker, Mario Masiá, owner of Heladería Masiá in San Vicente del Raspeig (Alicante), first Spanish Ice Cream Champion (2011) and Runner-up in the World Ice Cream Championship (2016).
As a way of introducing itself to Alimentaria, Masiá has prepared a series of ice creams of different flavours and textures which will be offered for tasting at the fair stand. Among the new solutions for the ice cream sector presented by the brand is Scoop Ice cream mix, a liquid dairy base that allows ice cream to be made in just 3 steps and without the need for a pasteuriser. Alongside this, there is also Nata Plus Firmeza y Rendimiento 35%, Natop – an alternative to cream with 20% cream and 80% vegetable fats – and Mantequilla Cake.
Another novelty for professionals that Debic is presenting at Alimentaria is Cream Cheese, for sweet and savoury recipes. This product is suitable for baking, spreading or stuffing, and stands out for its fresh, balanced taste and creamy texture, which makes it easy to combine with other ingredients.
The FrieslandCampina brand will boost its presence at the fair with live demonstrations by chefs and pastry chefs such as Cristina García, Pablo Morales and Miguel Carretero. The Show Cookings will take place at the stand on the 4, 5 and 6 from 12.00 to 1.00 p.m.
