Free-range eggs with an organic nature

A product involving free-range hens reared among organic orange trees based on corn and soy.

Eggs from free-range hens reared among organic orange trees and orange blossom. This is the speciality that’s coming to Alimentaria from Granja Boverals, a third-generation family-run farm that’s opted for completely natural feed for its hens, based on noble cereals such as corn and soy. The above, together with the animals’ daily consumption of the products of mother nature, means that their eggs are 100% natural and have the authentic Mediterranean colour and flavour that characterises and distinguishes them.

With a long-standing track record, Granja Boverals continues to innovate at its facilities on an ongoing basis so as to adapt to the new ecological trends. Therefore, as well as ensuring the welfare of its hens, it also seeks to reduce its impact on the environment. For this reason, it will visit this year’s fair with more sustainable packaging, made from at least 95% recycled cardboard.

Granja Boverals is the first free-range egg farm in the province of Castellón and also the first to have received the prestigious animal Welfare Quality certificate in recognition of its efforts in caring for its animals. It also has the product quality certificates awarded by the Km0 platform and it has obtained the ISO 14064.2012 Carbon Footprint and ISO 14046.2014 Water Footprint certificates.
