Tradition, devotion and innovation are the pillars that have guided the path of four generations in the production of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) to make Aires de Jaén one of the largest exporters of this product. With this letter of introduction from the heart of the Los Badenes family estate, Aires de Jaén will visit Alimentaria with five varieties of its green gold.
From its estates on the banks of the river Guadalquivir, known in ancient times as OBA or the River of Gold, Aires de Jaén presents its OBA organic extra virgin olive oil, a 100% natural product produced using traditional processes with the utmost respect for the environment.
Aires de Jaén will also showcase its Finca Badenes first-day-of-harvest EVOO, a limited edition extra virgin olive oil that’s characterised by its clean, fresh, fruity and nutty fragrances. In addition to the above, the brand produces two other Finca Badenes EVOOs made with olives exclusively harvested in mid-October: the cosecha temprana Picual, made only with Picual olives, and the cosecha temprana coupage, made with three varieties: Picual, Frantoio and Arbequina.
The finishing touch is provided by its picual variety Aires EVOO, obtained from a selection of the best olives harvested before 31 December and crushed at its mill just a few hours after harvesting. It’s an oil with a dual quality seal, the IGP Aceite de Jaén and the Degusta Jaén black label, and it’s presented in a bottle with an original design.
