Bihortal is a brand of SCA Cortijo del Gavilán, a family business in the province of Jaén specialising in the production and marketing of organic products. Specialities include traditional ready meals, canned vegetables, tomato sauces, pâtés, jams, pickles, fruit juices and herbal teas. To this catalogue of products, the company is now adding a new product that will be unveiled at Alimentaria: the Bihortal almond and honey drink.

This new drink is an organic vegan milk, 100% natural, free of lactose, gluten and cholesterol, making it a food that is good for the body, as well as being environmentally friendly. Just one glass of this vegetable drink contains the recommended daily amount of almonds and all the benefits of honey.

Bihortal also has traditional recipes such as gazpacho and tomato soup, natural vegetable preserves and black and green olive pâtés. And it offers other more innovative formulas, such as black tea, chamomile and pennyroyal mint infusions with stevia or agave syrup.

All Bihortal products are made with ingredients from local crops and certified by the CAAE, in accordance with Regulation (EC) 834/2007, which regulates the organic production method. They also have the AB (Agriculture Biologique) and BIO-SIEGEL labels.
