Jamones Aljomar arrives at Alimentaria in the company of the international chef Martín Berasategui to present the new lines of organic Iberian products and natural sausages at its stand at the fair.
Among the new products are the organic 100% Iberian breed acorn-fed pork loin, as well as the 100% natural chorizos and salchichones, made with Iberian pork, following the original recipe of the Aljomar family with more than 30 years of tradition. In addition, they contain no additives, preservatives or allergens (gluten-free and lactose-free).
In 2018, the Aljomar family began its transition to a system of organic livestock farming, which has since been implemented in the breeding, selection, feeding and care of the Iberian pigs. Likewise, organic criteria have been applied in the production and curing of all the brand’s hams, shoulders and sausages.
Thus, the new organic product line is the culmination of this process of total adaptation to the production cycle. An arduous effort in terms of sustainability for which Aljomar has been rewarded with seals such as the official accreditation of its organic production system, the certificate Welfair™ of Animal Welfare, or the Ecological Footprint Offset certificate.
In addition to this new ecological and natural line, Aljomar will also be presenting other new products at this edition, such as the Iberian acorn-fed wolf with pepper and the Iberian pepper-flavoured acorn-fed pork loin.
