Essse Caffè brings to Alimentaria Latitudini, a new range of two espresso coffees. Honduras – San Andrés is an intense, full-bodied Arabica coffee with a fine acidity, outstanding aromas of spices and citrus fruits, with hints of tobacco and caramel. Its companion in the range, Colombia-Supremo is also an Arabica with a mild flavour that tends towards sweetness, aromatic, full-bodied and medium-high acidity, as well as hints of cocoa and notes of flowers and fruits.
In addition to this range, Essse Cafè offers a sensory journey from Honduras to Colombia and highlights its coffee beans, made from a blend of its best selection of Arabica and Robusta beans, which qualifies it as a “certified Italian espresso”. The firm will also be bringing its S.12 coffee machine, designed by Giugiaro Design, to the fair. This machine works with the brand’s exclusive Essse Caffè capsules of different coffee varieties: Maestoso, Barocco, Infinito, Ideale, Decafeinatto, Arabesco, Rapsodia, Latitudini (Honduras and Colombia).
Essse Caffè is the brand founded in Bologna by the Segafredo family in 1979. Scienza (Science), Sapienza (Wisdom) and Specializzazione (Specialization) are the three s’s of its name that summarize the company’s philosophy. The brand could yet add a fourth, sustainable one: in 2019, it obtained certification of its environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001.
