Flax & Kale, a healthy food company with multiple categories of products and its own local production, is consolidating its range of vegan meats and cheeses with two references on the Spanish market unseen until now: plant-based roast chicken croquettes and plant-based mozzarella-style fingers.
The croquettes are made from 100% vegetable ingredients: pea and soy protein. The R&D team has developed plant-based roast chicken croquettes that are crispy on the outside, thanks to the gluten-free panko basting, and creamy on the inside with a tasty cashew béchamel sauce. This reference is lactose-free and is available in chilled and frozen formats.
The mozzarella fingers are also made with nuts and vegetable protein. After months of research, Flax & Kale has succeeded in making them melt and taste like cheese while having 100% vegetable ingredients. They’re crispy on the outside and have warm and melted vegan mozzarella-style cheese on the inside, in addition to being gluten-free and lactose-free.
