Traditional crops for innovative food

New range of certified organic, gluten-free and vegan products that highlight pulses and ancient grains

Hort del Silenci, an agricultural company committed to promoting organic and local produce and the recovery of traditional crops, brings innovative proposals to Alimentaria 2022, which are designed and created to offer alternatives to the traditional market, and adapted to new sensitivities and food needs. With this philosophy, Hort del Silenci participates in this edition with a new range of products officially certified as organic, gluten-free and vegan, and in sustainable packaging (glass, paper, food cardboard and recycled and recyclable RPET plastic)

This range is made up of four product lines: EASY MIX packaged flours, which include six allergen-free references (three gluten-free and three made with ancient cereals from our own crops); flours certified as gluten-free and vegan products (rice, chickpea, oat, lentil, corn, teff and maize starch); the line of pulses in grain, with traditional indigenous varieties; and the range of pasta based on pulses and ancient cereals, with 5 new references (red lentil, chickpea, pea, broad bean, and spelt and vegetable spirals).

The brand will also be present in the Organic Market & Trends area of the fair, with its eco vegetable egg, a vegan proposal, free of allergens and salmonellosis. This alternative to animal protein is one of the four nominees that the brand has submitted for the Innoval awards, which are aimed at innovative products in the food sector. Its other three nominees are ECO lentil pardina Rigatone, Easy Mix gluten-free loaf and ECO Florence Aurora tagliatelle.
