Vichy Catalan Corporation

The longstanding brand relaunches Monte Pinos natural mineral water, expands its range of Vichy Catalan flavours, and makes changes to its containers and caps

Water to care for your health

The Vichy Catalan Corporation, steeped in more than 140 years of history, participates at Alimentaria, where it will exhibit its wide range of products, particularly showcasing its Mondariz, Font d’Or, Monte Pinos and Lambda brands, along with its iconic Vichy Catalan.

One of the notable innovations this edition is the relaunch of its Monte Pinos mineral water, with a ‘Low in Sodium’ slogan, as its composition features just 1.8 mg per litre. Given that decreased sodium intake helps to maintain balanced blood pressure, Monte Pinos stands out as a natural mineral water beneficial for those who wish to take care of their cardiovascular health.

In the category of flavoured waters, Vichy Catalan Apple is an addition to its already well-known range (lemon, orange, lemon-lime and mint), made with genuine Vichy Catalán natural carbonated mineral water and natural essences, and 0% added sugar.

Lambda juices and nectars, made in the Canary Islands, are packaged in 2 carton formats: 200 ml and 1 litre, and are available in four flavours: pineapple, apple, peach and orange. They feature a new plastic cap, complying with the new European directive requiring lids and caps to remain attached to the container after they are opened to facilitate their recycling.

Another new product that will be rolled out at Alimentaria is the company’s new ‘easy-open’ metal cap on its 1-litre and 500-ml glass bottles of Monte Pinos, a reusable format for both the carbonated and still versions, in addition to their 500-ml bottles of Font d’Or Maximum. The outcome of true innovation by the Vichy Catalan Corporation, this new cap lets you open the bottles without an opener by simply pulling on the cap, thus making the daily work of hospitality and restaurant staff much easier.
