JAVIMAR is expanding its range of fresh, artisan-style canned fish with new products in olive oil: white tuna belly, baby sardines and sardines from the Galician estuaries.
Canned fish prepared with the same care as always
Canned white tuna belly, baby sardines and sardines from the Galician estuaries, all in olive oil, are the new gourmet offerings that JAVIMAR is presenting at Alimentaria.
The belly is the tastiest and most prized part of the tuna. It is processed by hand with great care and attention, as it is a very delicate meat. At JAVIMAR, they select the finest cuts, caught in season using sustainable methods, to ensure the most natural flavour in their tinned products.
The baby sardines in olive oil are presented in tins of 40–50 pieces, as part of the brand’s Negra gourmet range. They are packed by hand, in a fan-shaped arrangement with two layers, and pre-toasted in the traditional manner.
The sardines are selected fresh, cleaned, gutted and packed before the olive oil is added. They are a rich source of Omega-3, which helps reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels, are low in fat and very rich in calcium.
Finally, the Galician estuary sardines in olive oil are made with top-quality fresh fish and are also available in spicy olive oil and tomato sauce. JAVIMAR will soon be launching the variety in Arbequí extra virgin olive oil.
