Embutidos Luis Gil presents an organic certified ham that is the result of processes that respect the rhythms of nature. The Rioja-based company raises and feeds its Duroc pigs on the ‘El Encinar’ farm in the Ocón Valley, in the heart of the Biosphere Reserve, and controls all the processes to produce a 100% natural product.
Thanks to the family’s organic farming and livestock project, the animals are fed on grass, roots and acorns during the montanera season, supplemented with organic cereals grown and processed on the same farm. Embutidos Luis Gil operates under organic certification, prioritising animal welfare, traceability and respect for the environment and the rhythms of nature and animals.
The result is a ham with a clean profile, a deep aroma, a juicy texture and an intense, natural flavour, made with pork leg, salt and the necessary curing time. It contains no additives, flavourings, preservatives or nitrites.
It is sold in different formats, designed for professionals and consumers: whole pieces, boneless or sliced, and packaged to preserve maximum quality and facilitate service.
