    The Espiga Tradición rye and spelt loaf is the star of the new collection of bread, sweet pastries and savoury snacks from Panamar Bakery Group.

    Delicacies that are a feast for the eyes

    The Espiga Traditional Rye and Spelt Loaf (280g), containing 17% rye and 17% spelt, is one of the new additions to the bakery and pastry range that Panamar Bakery Group is presenting at Alimentaria. The new range includes breads, sweet pastries and savoury snacks designed to add variety to the assortment in bakeries, supermarkets and catering establishments.
    The range combines recipes inspired by baking tradition with practical solutions for the professional sector that enhance visual appeal at the point of sale and expand the possibilities for consumption at different times of the day.

    The traditional rye and spelt Espiga offers a flavour profile with more character without compromising on ease of consumption. Its ear-shaped scoring provides a distinctive aesthetic and reinforces its artisanal image, whilst the lightly floured surface and medium-dark crust evoke the appearance of traditional cereal breads. The thin, crisp crust gives way to a slightly airy crumb, balancing character and softness on the palate.

    Other offerings include the select 285-gram rustic Mediterranean loaf, made with active sourdough and long proving times that encourage the development of aromas and a more pronounced airiness; the new sandwich formats: the 180g Maxi Bocata Tradición Express and the 160g Maxi Bocata Bâton Verité Express; the 65g Mini Bâton Verité Express, an individual-sized option for tastings, tapas or small bites; and the new 250g loaf with 5% olive oil, which adds a Mediterranean touch to the range.

    In the sweet pastry category, the standout is the 95-gram cinnamon croissant palm, a pastry made from croissant dough with thin, well-defined layers, a slightly caramelised surface and visible cinnamon filling. Panamar Bakery Group also introduces the 81-gram Hoops Dubai, a soft pastry filled with a creamy pistachio and kataifi pastry filling, and the 95-gram Dubai Muffin, made with moist, spongy cocoa dough and a creamy pistachio and kataifi pastry filling.

    The new collection is rounded off with savoury pastries, such as the 120g Chicken Curry Square and the 120g Burger-style Square.
