    Biography

    Innovation and strategy consultant with 25 years of international experience. With an MSc in Civil Engineering from the UPM and an AMP from IE Business School, I've leaded disruptive projects as Director of Innovation at multinationals, large companies, and SMEs across multiple sectors, including notable projects such as 3DBridge (the world’s first 3D-printed concrete footbridge) and Hammer (awarded by the EU in 2019). In addition, I teach courses on innovation and disruptive strategies at IE Business School, co-founded the innovation NGO Mornings4, and write articles for digital newspapers.

This talk proposes a radical shift in perspective: understanding it as a strategic investment with economic, operational and competitive returns. We will analyse the mechanisms that make it possible to move from expense to investment, how to assess the real ROI of technological solutions, and what financial, fiscal and management advantages a restaurant can unlock. A key session for making technology decisions with a business mindset and for stopping seeing innovation as a burden and starting to see it as a growth lever.
