Xavier Escudero Rafas

Biography

Xavier holds a degree and a master’s from ESADE and began his career in M&A at Morgan Stanley in London and Madrid. In 2004, he founded AZ Capital, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisory firm in Spain, with offices in Madrid and Barcelona, more than 70 professionals and a total transaction volume exceeding €150 billion. In 2021, the prestigious international platform Mergermarket recognized AZ Capital as “Financial Advisor of the Year in Iberia M&A.” Since 2023, he has been teaching M&A at the UPF Barcelona School of Management, combining professional practice with academia.
