Torrezno de Soria is revealing the secrets behind the world’s best torreznos of 2026 and 2025 in the innovation category at Alimentaria.

The world’s best torrezno comes to Alimentaria to reveal the secret behind the success of one of the star products of Soria’s gastronomy, with over 40 million units consumed in Spain last year. Among the award-winning products presented by Torrezno de Soria are the torrezno lollipops from La Gastro Tasquita, winner of the 2025 World’s Best Torrezno for Innovation, and the 2026 World’s Best Torrezno, produced by the El Volante bar in Ólvega.
The quality of torrezno is measured by its golden, crispy rind, which should make a satisfying crunch when broken and bitten into, with a lean texture and a savoury, mild flavour, in which the aromas of the pork and its marbled fat are perfectly balanced.
In addition to the award-winning products, Torrezno de Soria is offering show cooking sessions at Alimentaria with chefs and influencers, such as pairings of butter and Torrezno de Soria, and the energy bar for athletes.
