    Ignacio Atance

    Biography

    PhD in Agricultural Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. A civil servant in Spain's National Corps of Agricultural Engineers, he built his career at the Ministry of Agriculture (2006–2023), holding several Deputy Director General positions, including Agricultural Policy Planning, where he led Spain's CAP Strategic Plan. Since January 2024, he has directed the Research Service at Grupo Cajamar Foundation, focused on generating and disseminating knowledge across the agri-food sector.

A conversation to understand what is really happening, which impacts are coming from outside the sector, and which levers remain in the hands of business owners to protect their business, their teams, and their medium-term viability.
