Germanor has incorporated apple cider vinegar made in keeping with the traditional method into its range of local products. Thanks to its unique softness on the palate, its straw-yellow colour and its bright appearance, it’s the ideal accompaniment for salads, vegetables and sauces, as it gives the dish the distinctive flavour of apple.

The commitment to the new product can be put down to its quality and the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of apple cider vinegar, among other health benefits, which have led consumer demand to constantly increase.

Germanor is the most popular brand of ActelGrup, the second-grade cooperative which brings together 102 cooperatives from Aragón, Catalonia, Castile and León, Extremadura and the Valencian Community. The olive oil division was founded in 1980 in the Les Garrigues region and, in addition to extra virgin olive oil, it produces and markets vinegars, olives and almonds, which share the common factor of a taste for tradition and quality.

The launch of apple cider vinegar has resulted from the agri-food cooperative’s need to adapt to the changing context, largely beset by the difficult climatic conditions caused by the drought.
